Prof. Wang Jisi Visits US to Research on Sino-US Relations

From May 9th to 13th 2016, Prof. Wang Jisi, President of the Institute of International and Strategic Studies (IISS), Peking University (PKU) visited Washington DC and New York of the US and researched on Sino-US relations and U.S. Presidential Election and other issues. During the visit, Prof. Wang attended two seminars presided over respectively by Chinese Ambassador Fu Ying, director of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National People's Congress and Kevin Rudd, President of Institute of Policy Studies, the Association for Asian Studies (AAS) and former Prime Minister of Australia, met with Danial Kritenbrink, Senior Director for Asia-Pacific affairs, U.S. National Security Council, joined in the dialogue between Dong Jianhua, Vice Chairman of the National Committee of CPPCC, Ambassador Fu Ying and Henry Kissinger, former U.S. Secretary of State and Michael Bloomberg, former New York City mayor, and also met with Winston Lord, former US ambassador to China, Stapleton Roy, former US ambassador to China and Richard Haass, Chair of the Foreign Relations Committee.
