On the afternoon of September 19th, 2016, a delegation of fourteen headed by Mr. David Mathews, President of American Kettering Foundation, paid a visit to the Institute of International and Strategic Studies (IISS), Peking University (PKU), and held talks with scholars from PKU, the Institute of American Studies (IAS) and Chinese Academy of Social Science (CASS). On this seminar hosted by Prof. WANG Jisi, President of IISS, PKU, the two parties reviewed the exchange activities conducted by Kettering Foundation in China over the past 30 years and unanimously agreed that people-to-people exchanges played an important role in the development of Sino-US relations. They also exchanged views on other topics of common concern.
