On the morning of March 9, 2018, a study group from Yunnan University (YNU) paid a visit to the Institute of International and Strategic Studies (IISS), Peking University (PKU) to discuss the issues of think tank research and exchanges. Guan Guihai, Executive Vice President of IISS, PKU, Zhai Kun, Qian Xuemei, Lei Shaohua, Wu Bingbing and other Special Research Fellows of IISS met with the guests at the North Pavilion. Both sides had an in-depth exchange on issues including institutional construction of think tanks in colleges and universities, internationalized development and influence enhancement, the organization and management of scientific research, stimulation of staff enthusiasm, as well as writing policy consulting reports and the transformation of research results into agenda issues.
