On the afternoon of February 28, 2018, Editorial Offices of American Studies and Latin American Studies of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) co-hosted an academic forum. Wang Jisi, Professor of School of International Studies (SIS), Peking University (PKU) and President of Institute of International and Strategic Studies (IISS), PKU delivered a speech entitled “The World’s Political Trend and the Historical Role of the U.S.A.”. The forum was hosted by Zhao Mei, Researcher of Institute of American Studies, CASS, and Executive Chief Editor of American Studies, and Wang Rongjun, Vice President of National Institute of International Strategy, CASS, who made a conclusion speech.
