On December 11th, 2020, the China Institute of International Studies (CIIS) and the China Foundation for International Studies (CFIS) co-hosted the Academic Workshop on “Great Changes of the World and China's Diplomacy during COVID-19 — the International Situation and China's Diplomacy in 2020”. State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi attended the opening ceremony and delivered a keynote speech.

Guan Guihai, Executive Vice President of Institute of International and Strategic Studies (IISS), Peking University (PKU), was invited to attend the meeting and delivered a speech entitled “Russian Adjustment to Its Internal Affairs and Diplomacy and China-Russia Relations”.
