On September 27th, 2020, Yuan Ming, Vice President of Institute of International and Strategic Studies (IISS), Peking University (PKU) and President of Yenching Academy of PKU attended the meeting under the “China-U.S. 1000 Schools Cooperation Program” organized by the Ministry of Education in Beijing, delivered a keynote speech entitled “Being Rooted in Local Culture, Absorbing Advantages of Foreign Countries and Facing the Future”, and met Bettina Malone, the Minister Counselor of the Information and Culture Department of the U.S. Embassy in China.
