On the morning of March 25, 2026, the editorial board of China International Strategy Review (CISR) convened a topic selection meeting for the second half of 2026. The meeting was chaired by Professor Yu Tiejun, Executive Editor-in-Chief of CISR, and was attended by over 10 experts and scholars from Peking University, Beijing Foreign Studies University, the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and the Party School of the CPC Central Committee.

Professor Yu Tiejun first reviewed the journal's performance over the course of 2025 and briefed the participating experts on the progress of the first issue of 2026. Taking into account their respective fields of research and areas of interest, the experts then put forward specific directions and suggestions for the topic selection and commissioning of articles for the second issue of 2026. Finally, Editor-in-Chief Professor Wang Jisi delivered concluding remarks on the meeting.
