On the afternoon of September 24, 2025, the Editorial Office of China International Strategy Review (CISR) convened a topic selection meeting for the first half of 2026. More than ten experts and scholars from Peking University, Tsinghua University, Beijing Foreign Studies University, China University of Political Science and Law, and the Party School of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China attended the meeting.

Professor Yu Tiejun first briefed the participants on the journal’s 2024 performance in databases such as ESCI and Scopus, and provided an update on the progress of articles for Issue 2 (2025). The attending experts then offered concrete suggestions and directions for the topic selection and manuscript solicitation for Issue 1 (2026), drawing on their respective research fields and topics of interest. Finally, Professor Wang Jisi, Editor-in-Chief of the journal, delivered concluding remarks.
