On the morning of April 18, 2024, the Institute of International and Strategic Studies (IISS), Peking University (PKU) held a seminar titled "Implementing Global Security Initiative, Improving Global Security Governance" at North Pavilion. More than a dozen experts and scholars from research institutions such as the China Institute of International Studies, the China Institutes of Contemporary International Relations, Xinhua News Agency, and universities such as Peking University, and Beijing Foreign Studies University conducted in-depth discussions on key topics within their research areas and related to the seminar's theme. They put forward policy suggestions to implement global security initiatives and improve security governance in the world. The seminar was chaired by Prof. Yu Tiejun, President of IISS, PKU.
