On the afternoon of March 25, 2024, the editorial board of China International Strategy Review (CISR) held a meeting to discuss topics for the second half of 2024. The meeting was chaired by Prof. Yu Tiejun, Executive Editor-in-Chief, and attended by more than ten experts and scholars from both inside and outside PKU.

Dr. Han Jia, the person in charge of social science journals for the Greater China region at Springer Nature, first shared CISR's overall performance for 2023. Dr. Han noted that, since its inception five years ago, CISR has been making steady progress with continuous improvement in various data indicators. The experts discussed policies related to database applications, strategies to increase the journal's publicity and other topics with Dr. Han. Afterwards, Prof Yu Tiejun detailed the progress of the journal's first issue of 2024. The experts present at the meeting proposed specific directions and suggestions for the topic selection and manuscript solicitation for the second issue of 2024 based on their respective research fields and focal topics.
