On the morning of September 15, 2023, the editorial department of China International Strategy Review (CISR) convened a topic selection meeting for the first half of 2024. More than ten experts and scholars from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Tsinghua University, Beijing Foreign Studies University, and Peking University attended the meeting.

The meeting was hosted by Prof. Yu Tiejun, Executive Chief Editor of CISR who presented the recent publishing status of two publications. Subsequently, the attending experts proposed specific directions and suggestions for the topic selection and manuscript preparation for H1 2024, drawing from their respective research areas and focal issues.
