On the afternoon of April 21st, the Institute of International and Strategic Studies (IISS), Peking University (PKU), held an expert consultation meeting on the project entitled “Oral Record of the Academic Journey of Contemporary Chinese Scholars in Japanese Studies”. The meeting was held at conference room B-117, the School of International Studies (SIS), in a hybrid online-offline format. Li Hanmei, the project leader, presided over the meeting and introduced the project plan. Experts and scholars from the Institute of Japanese Studies at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Renmin University of China, Fudan University, Nankai University, Tianjin Foreign Studies University, and PKU attended the meeting, engaging in enthusiastic discussions and providing some recommendations.
