Academic Seminar Held by PKU and Keio University

On the afternoon of February 4, 2021, the Institute of International and Strategic Studies (IISS) of Peking University (PKU) and Japanese Research Platform of SFC Institute, Keio University jointly held the second online academic seminar. The guests at the meeting included Prof. Kamo Koki, Prof. Nakayama Toshihiro, and Prof. Jimboken of the Faculty of Comprehensive Policy of Keio University, as well as Kikuchi, senior researcher of the Japan International Forum. Yu Tiejun and Gui Yongtao, Vice Presidents of IISS, PKU and Jie Dalei, Associate Professor at School of International Studies of PKU participated in the seminar as Chinese representatives. Focusing on the Biden administration’s foreign policy and Sino-U.S. relations, the two sides envisioned the domestic and foreign policies of the new U.S. government, analyzed the future positioning and trend of Sino-U.S. relations, and discussed the role of Japanese factors in Sino-U.S. relations.
