On the afternoon of Nov 6, 2022, the seminar on "Rethinking Lessons Learned from the Russia-Ukraine Conflict" was held in the North Pavilion, which was jointly hosted by the Center for International Security and Peace Studies, Peking University (PKU), the Institute of International and Strategic Studies (IISS), PKU, and the Institute of Area Studies, PKU. Altogether 18 experts and scholars from PKU, Tsinghua University, Grandview Institution, and other research institutions attended the seminar.
Experts present at the seminar assessed the progress and impact of the Russia-Ukraine conflict from political, economic, diplomatic and military perspectives, as well as summarized the lessons that the international community could learn from the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
This seminar was co-moderated by Prof. Yu Tiejun, President of IISS, PKU and Director of the Department of National Security Studies at the School of International Studies (SIS), PKU, Jie Dalei, Senior Research Fellow of IISS, PKU and Associate Professor at SIS, PKU, and Gui Yongtao, Vice President of IISS, PKU and Associate Dean at SIS, PKU.
