On the morning of September 21, 2022, the editorial office of China International Strategy Review (CISR) convened a topic selection meeting for the first half of 2023. The meeting was hosted by Prof. Yu Tiejun, executive chief editor of CISR, near 20 experts and scholars from Peking University, Fudan University, China University of Political Science and Law, Party School of the Central Committee of C.P.C., and University of Nevada attending it. 

Yu Tiejun introduced to the participants the general situation, achievements and problems regarding two publications in the past year. Subsequently, based on their respective professional fields and topics of concern the participating experts proposed specific directions and suggestions on the topic selection and drafting in the first half of 2023. Prof. Wang Jisi, chief editor of the journal put forward concrete requirements for the direction of the journal’s future development.
