On the morning of December 8, 2021, China International Strategy Review (CISR) convened a topic selection meeting at Editorial Office for the first half of 2022. The meeting was hosted by Prof. Yu Tiejun, Executive Editor of CISR, over 20 experts and scholars from Peking University, Tsinghua University, Fudan University, Beijing Foreign Studies University, China University of Political Science and Law, Party School of the Central Committee of C.P.C. and Springer Nature Press attended the meeting. 

Yu Tiejun introduced to the participants the basic situation regarding two publications in 2021. Prof. Han Jiabo, Publishing Manager of Springer Nature Group analyzed relevant data of CISR. Subsequently，based on their respective professional fields and topics of concern the participating editorial committees proposed specific directions and suggestions on the topic selection and drafting in the first half of 2022. The chief editor of the journal summarized the topic selection meeting and put forward requirements for the direction of the journal´s future development.
