Delegation Led by the British Ambassador to China Pays a Visit to IISS

On September 15, 2022, a delegation led by Caroline Wilson DCMG, the British Ambassador to China, paid a visit to the Institute of International and Strategic Studies (IISS), Peking University (PKU). The two sides exchanged views on issues such as current international situation, China-U.K. relations and educational exchanges and cooperation.

Participants of the meeting included: Wang Jisi, President of the IISS, PKU, Guan Guihai, Executive Vice President of the IISS, PKU, Yu Tiejun and Gui Yongtao, Vice Presidents of the IISS, PKU, Zeng Chuyuan, Ph.D candidate at the School of International Studies (SIS), PKU, Giles Montagnon, Minister Counselor of the British Embassy in China, Dashiell Caldwell, Minister Counselor for Economic, Environment and Trade Policy at the British Embassy in China, and Thomas Burn, First Secretary for Foreign Security Policy at the British Embassy in China.
