On the morning of May 21st, 2018, a delegation of nine headed by General Surasit Thanadtang, director of Thai-Chinese Strategic Research Center (TCSC), National Research Council of Thailand, and Prof. Zhang Xizhen of Thammasat University of Thailand paid a visit to the Institute of International and Strategic Studies (IISS), Peking University (PKU). The delegation had a discussion with the Chinese academics on the issue “The Role of Think Tanks in Formulating Public Policy: Taking the Belt and Road Initiative as an Example”. Zhai Kun, Special Research Fellow of IISS, PKU and Professor of School of International Studies (SIS), PKU, Song Wei, Professor at School of International Studies, Renmin University of China, Song Qingrun, Associate Research Fellow at the Institute of South & Southeast Asian and Oceania Studies, China Institutes of Contemporary International Relations (CICIR) and Song Junying, Associate Research Fellow of Department of Asia-Pacific Security and Cooperation, China Institute of International Studies (CIIS) attended the seminar. Prof. Wang Jisi, President of IISS hosted a luncheon.
