President Yu Tiejun and Associate Professor Jie Dalei Attend the 13th Online Meeting of CoC

On February 11, 2026, Prof. Yu Tiejun, President of the Institute for International and Strategic Studies (IISS), Peking University (PKU), attended the 13th online meeting of the Council of Councils (CoC), hosted by the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) of the United States, as the representative of IISS, PKU. Jie Dalei, Senior Research Fellow at IISS, PKU and Associate Professor at the School of International Studies, PKU, was also present at the meeting.

The meeting brought together 17 think tanks from 15 countries for discussions on "The New U.S. National Security Strategy and What It Means for the World". Both Prof. Yu and Associate Professor Jie actively participated in the discussions and delivered remarks.

The CoC is a global network of think tanks initiated and established by the CFR. It is designed to connect leading foreign policy institutes from around the world in a dialogue on issues of global governance and multilateral cooperation and to bring together intellectual power to address common threats and provide innovative ideas, thus providing recommendations and solutions to public policy debates and decision-making processes in member countries. The CoC is composed of leading think tanks from 24 countries, roughly tracking the composition of the Group of Twenty (G20).
