Founding President Wang Jisi Attends the 6th U.S.-China Hong Kong Forum

The 6th U.S.-China Hong Kong Forum was held in Hong Kong on November 17–18, 2025, under the theme "Circles for Peace." Prof. Wang Jisi, Founding President of the Institute for International and Strategic Studies (IISS), Peking University (PKU) and Professor at the School of International Studies (SIS), PKU,  attended the forum at the invitation of the organizers.

On November 17, Prof. Wang Jisi participated in a high-level dialogue themed "Power, Partnership, and a New Order." Together with Charlene Barshefsky, former U.S. Trade Representative, and Nirupama Rao, former Indian Foreign Secretary and former Indian Ambassador to China and the United States, he engaged in in-depth discussions on the future trajectory of globalization, the choices facing countries amid U.S.-China competition, and the scope for cooperation in the context of global crises. The dialogue was moderated by James Chau, President of the China-United States Exchange Foundation and UN Goodwill Ambassador.
