Dr. Scott Kennedy from CSIS Pays a Visit to IISS, PKU

On the afternoon of July 14, 2025, Dr. Scott Kennedy, Senior Adviser and Trustee Chair in Chinese Business and Economics at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), United States, visited the Institute of International and Strategic Studies (IISS), Peking University (PKU).

The following experts attended the meeting: Professor Wang Jisi, Founding President of IISS, PKU; Associate Professors Guan Guihai and Gui Yongtao, Executive Vice President and Vice President of IISS, respectively; Jie Dalei, Special Research Fellow at IISS and Associate Professor at the School of International Studies (SIS), PKU; Li Chen, Special Research Fellow at IISS, PKU and Associate Professor and Associate Dean at the School of International Studies, Renmin University of China; Associate Professor Dai Xin, Associate Dean of PKU Law School; Assistant Professors Liu Lu and Xu Qinyi, SIS, PKU; Hu Ran, Postdoctoral Fellow and Assistant Research Fellow at the Institute of American Studies, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS); and Zhao Jianwei, Postdoctoral Fellow and Assistant Research Fellow at the SIS, PKU. They met with Dr. Scott Kennedy and exchanged views on issues such as economic security policy and China–U.S. relations.
