On July 2, 2025, Mr. Ben Spells, Counsellor of the Political Section at the British Embassy in China, together with Mr. Ben Frost, Second Secretary and Mr. Jiang Yang, Chinese Secretary, visited the Institute of International and Strategic Studies (IISS), Peking University (PKU). They met with Associate Professor Gui Yongtao, Vice President of IISS, for discussions on topics including major-power relations, China’s relations with neighboring countries, and global and regional hotspot issues.
