On the afternoon of July 3, 2025, Jude Blanchette, inaugural Director of the China Studies, RAND Corporation, and Gerard DiPippo, Associate Director, visited the Institute of International and Strategic Studies (IISS), Peking University (PKU) and met with Professor Yu Tiejun, President of IISS, and Professor Wang Jisi, Founding President of IISS. The two sides exchanged views on issues including U.S. policy toward China under the Trump administration, China–U.S. relations, and U.S. domestic politics.
