On the morning of May 19, 2025, Michael McFaul, Professor of Political Science and Director of the Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies (FSI) at Stanford University, visited the Institute of International and Strategic Studies (IISS), Peking University (PKU). He held discussions with Professor Yu Tiejun, President of IISS, and Associate Professor Guan Guihai, Executive Vice President of IISS, on topics including China–U.S. relations, the international situation and regional hotspot issues.
