On October 11, 2023, Prof. Wang Jisi, Professor at the School of International Studies (SIS) and Founding President of the Institute of International and Strategic Studies (IISS), Peking University (PKU), met with Dr. Henry Kissinger, former U.S. Secretary of State in New York. They exchanged views on current Sino-U.S. relations, the situation in the Middle East and other issues. Dr. Kissinger affectionately recalled the warm reception he received during his visit to Beijing in July 2023 and expressed his continued commitment to contributing to the stable development of Sino-U.S. relations.
