On the morning of April 24th, 2023, First Secretary Hiroyuki Kaneko and Third Secretary Keigo Yamazaki of the Embassy of Japan in China visited the Institute of International and Strategic Studies (IISS). Prof. Yu Tiejun, President, IISS, and Research Assistant Ma Li’ao participated in the meeting.

The two sides exchanged views on issues such as the Sino-Japan high-level dialogue, Sino-Japan relations, exchanges and cooperations. Both sides expected the gradual recovery of dialogue and cooperation, scholars’ mutual visits, and people-to-people contacts.
