On March 25, 2023, the 9th PKU-UTokyo Forum was held online under the topic of "The Impact of the Ukraine Crisis on International Politics and the Global Economy". Scholars from Peking University (PKU) and the University of Tokyo (UTokyo) shared their insights and explored into the forum’s theme from the perspectives of politics, economics and international relations. Prof. Yu Tiejun, President of the Institute of International and Strategic Studies (IISS), PKU, hosted the speech session and Associate Prof. Gui Yongtao, Vice President of IISS, PKU, delivered a speech entitled "Economic Interdependence, National Security and U.S.-Japan-China Relations".
