On February 24, 2023, Wang Jisi, Founding President of the Institute of International and Strategic Studies (IISS) and Professor at the School of International Studies (SIS), Peking University (PKU), was invited to visit the International College of Defense Studies, The People's Liberation Army National Defence University (NDU, PLA), to deliver a keynote speech at a symposium on current international issues, including China-U.S. relations. Major General Xu Hui, President of the International College of Defence Studies, presided over the symposium, and Major General Liu Zhongbin, Political Commissar of the International College of Defence Studies, attended the symposium and participated in the discussion.
