On the morning of February 7, 2023, Matthew J. Yi, Political Officer at the Political Section of the Embassy of the United States of America in China, paid a visit to the Institute of International Strategic Studies (IISS), Peking University (PKU). Yu Tiejun, President of IISS, exchanged views on issues such as China-U.S. relations and China-Japan relations with Joonhee Lee. 

Irene Wang, Political Officer at the Embassy of the United States of America in China, and Zhao Jianwei, a doctoral student at the School of International Studies (SIS), PKU, attended the meeting.
