On March 16, 2015, Mr. Masayoshi Arai, Director-General of Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), paid a visit to Institute of International and Strategic Peking University (IISS) and met with Pro. Yu Tiejun, Vice President of IISS. They exchanged views on recent Chinese diplomatic situation and the plan of “One Belt One Road”. Accompanying visitors included Mr. Hoshino Hikarua, Industrial Inspector of Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) Hong Kong, Mr. Arai Jiro, Deputy Director for Policy Evaluation of METI, Mr. Takagi Shigetaka, First Secretary of Japan’s Embassy in China, and Ms. Zhang Min from Sector of Economy and Information of JETRO Beijing.
