From May 18thto 21st, 2015, Yu Tiejun, Vice President of the Institute of International and Strategic Studies (IISS), Peking University (PKU) visited Japan, and joined the "Sino-Japan Crisis Management Dialogue" co-organized by China Foundation for International and Strategic Studies (CFISS) and Japan National Institute for Defense Studies (NIDS). The delegate was led by Zhang Tuosheng, Director of the Academic Committee of CFISS and council member of IISS, PKU. During the 1.5-day dialogue, two parties discussed issues such as the Sino-Japan security environment evaluation, concept and mechanism of the Sino-Japan crisis management etc. In addition to the dialogue, the delegate also met with Yuji Miyamoto, former Japanese Ambassador to China and relevant officials from the Japan National Security Council (NSC).
