On January 30, 2016, Hanyu Jiro, Chairman of Sasakawa Peace Foundation (SPF) paid a visit to IISS, PKU who were received by President Wang Jisi, Vice President Yu Tiejun, Associate Professor Gui Yongtao of IISS, PKU as well as Mr. Bu Ping, former President of The Institute of Modern History, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. Both parties made exchanges on Sino-Japan relationship as well as the common research plan in the future.
