On May, 25th, 2017, Prof. Wang Jisi, President of the Institute of International and Strategic Studies (IISS), was invited by Barbara Janet Woodward, UK Ambassador to China, for lunch at the British embassy. Both had exchanged views on issues of common interest, such as “the Belt and Road Initiative”, China’s foreign policy and Sino-UK relationship. Clelia Uhart, the First Secretary at the British Embassy in China and Zeng Chuyuan, Research Assistant at IISS were also present at the lunch.
