In the morning on May, 19th, 2017, Ha Young Sun, Chairperson of the Board of Governors, East Asia Institute (EAI), Lee Dong Ryul, Chair of the Center for China Studies and Sohn Yul, EAI, Chair of the Center for Japan Studies, EAI, paid a visit to the North Pavilion, Peking University (PKU). They met with Prof. Zhang Xiaoming from the School of International Studies (SIS), PKU, Yu Tiejun, Associate Professor and Assistant President of the Institute of International and Strategic Studies (IISS) and Associate Professor Gui Yongtao, Assistant President of IISS, PKU. Both parties had in-depth and candid communications on issues like Asia-Pacific framework, new type of big power relations and bilateral relationship in East Asia. The symposium was hosted by Associate Professor Gui Yongtao.
