On the afternoon of September 17th, 2018, Dr. Igor A. SELEZNËV , Researcher of the Institute of Socio-Politics, the Russian Academy of Sciences and Ph.D. of Sociology, paid a visit to the Institute of International and Strategic Studies (IISS), Peking University (PKU). Associate Prof. Guan Guihai, Executive Vice President of IISS, held an academic symposium with Dr. SELEZNËV at the North Pavilion. The theme of the symposium was "The Significance of the Shanghai Co-operation Organization and the Collective Security Treaty Organization to peace and stability in Central Asia under the background of the 'Belt and Road' initiative".
