On the morning of August 30, 2018, Piriya Khempon, the Thailand’s Ambassador to China with his escort comprised of 6 other officials of the Royal Thai Embassy, Beijing, paid a visit to the Institute of International and Strategic Studies (IISS), Peking University (PKU). Mr. Wang Jisi, President of the IISS, met the guests at the North Pavilion. Both sides exchanged their ideas on the Sino-ASEAN relations, the Belt and Road Initiative and the Sino-U.S. relations, etc. Zhou Fangye, Associate Research Fellow of National Institute of International Strategy, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (NIIS, CASS), attended the meeting and joined the exchange of ideas.
