On the morning of June 12, 2018, Mr. Raphael S. Cohen and Mr. Nathan Beauchamp-Mustafaga, policy experts of the RAND Corporation paid a visit to the Institute of International and Strategic Studies (IISS), Peking University (PKU). Associate Prof. Yu Tiejun, Vice President of the IISS, PKU met Mr. Raphael S. Cohen and Mr. Nathan Beauchamp-Mustafaga at the North Pavilion of the PKU. Both sides had in-depth discussions on a series of issues, including the security situation in East Asia, the Sino-Japanese relations, the South China Sea issue, the Taiwan issue and the Belt and Road Initiative.
