
On December 12th, 2018, Associate Prof. Guan Guihai, Executive Vice President of the Institute of International and Strategic Studies (IISS), Peking University (PKU), headed a delegation of Chinese scholars to attend the symposium on "Achievements and Prospects of the Development of China-Russia Relations from the Perspective of the 40th Anniversary of China's Reform and Opening-up Policy", which was co-hosted in Russia by the Chinese Embassy in Russia and the Russian International Affairs Council. Associate Prof. Guan Guihai also delivered a keynote speech at the symposium.
Chinese scholars attending the symposium included Associate Prof. Xiang Zuotao and Lei Shaohua from the School of International Studies (SIS), PKU, and He Fei, Director of the Department of Policy Planning of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, PRC. Russian scholars attending the symposium were from the Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO), Moscow State University, Higher School of Economics, and other institutions.
The delegation also paid a visit to the Carnegie Moscow Center, the Primakov National Research Institute of World Economy and International Relations, Russian Academy of Sciences, the MGIMO, and other institutions.
