On the afternoon of October 31st, 2018, Liu Fukuo and Yuan Yi, research fellows of the Institute of International Relations, National Chengchi University, and Liu Tohai, Professor of the Department of Diplomacy, National Chengchi University, paid a visit to the Institute of International and Strategic Studies (IISS), Peking University (PKU). Wang Jisi, Professor of the School of International Studies (SIS) and President of the IISS, PKU, Zhang Qingmin, Professor of the SIS, PKU, and Jie Dalei, Associate Professor of the SIS, PKU, held talks with the scholars. The content of the talks focused on issues such as China-U.S. relations, the situation in the Taiwan Strait, politics on Taiwan Island, and the U.S.'s policy on Taiwan. The two sides also exchanged information on teaching, modes of running a university, exchange programs, etc. of PKU and National Chengchi University.
