On the afternoon of October 18th, 2018, Ms. Lena von Sydow, Political Counselor of the Swedish Embassy in China, and Ms. Angeliqa Lejonberg, Political Officer of the Swedish Embassy in China, paid a visit to the Institute of International and Strategic Studies (IISS), Peking University (PKU), and had a symposium with Wang Jisi, President of IISS and Professor of the School of International Studies (SIS), PKU. The symposium focused on China-U.S. relations and China-Sweden relations. In addition, the two sides exchanged views on the situation on the Korean Peninsula, Swedish domestic politics, refugees in the Middle East and other issues.
