On March 13, 2020, Associate Prof. Yu Tiejun, Vice President of the Institute of International Strategic Studies (IISS), Peking University (PKU), gave an online lecture on “COVID-19 Prevention and Control and the Development of International Security Theory" for foreign students from the five continents at International College of Defense Studies (ICDS)，National Defense University of the People's Liberation Army (NDU，PLA). From March to April, 2020, Associate Prof. Yu Tiejun participated in the project of the Advanced Rresearch Institute, PKU, involving the emergency response mechanisms for major epidemics.
