On April 20, 2020, the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies (KFCRIS) released a report on the regional and international impact of coronavirus in which KFCRIS’s interview with Prof. Wang Jisi was published. Prof. Wang Jisi responded to issues such as how COVID-19 affected China-U.S. relations, its impact on China and his evaluation on Chinese governance model, the COVID-19’s impact on the “Belt and Road” Initiative, and geopolitical crisis to be brought by the COVID-19. On April 22, Al Arabiya news network translated the full text of the interview into Arabic and published it on its website.
