On the afternoon of November 26, 2020, a five-member research group led by Yao Yuan, Deputy Director of the Office of Humanities and Social Sciences, Nanjing University, paid a visit to the Institute of International and Strategic Studies (IISS). Scholars of the IISS attended the meeting: Prof. Wang Jisi, President of the IISS, Prof. Guan Guihai, Executive Vice President of the IISS, Prof. Yu Tiejun, Vice President of the IISS, Associate Prof. Gui Yongtao, Sun Yilin, Vice Secretary-General of the IISS, and Liu Chunmei, Administrative Director of the IISS. The two sides had a thorough discussion on issues such as innovation of the think tank system and mechanism, evaluation of think tanks’ work, training of talents and support for think tanks, they also exchanged respective experiences of the construction of think tanks.
