On the afternoon of November 4, 2022, Associate Prof. Guan Guihai, Executive Vice President of the Institute of International and Strategic Studies (IISS), Peking University (PKU) and Director of The Center for Modern Russian Studies of PKU, met with Ms. Айдай Конушбековна, Deputy Director of the National Institute for Strategic Studies (NISS) of the Kyrgyz Republic, at the North Pavilion. 

After introducing the basic information of the IISS to Ms. Aydai Temikoyeva, Executive Vice President Guan Guihai answered her questions such as how China could maintain stability under the impact of the epidemic. The two sides also discussed issues like the influence of China, the United States and Russia in Central Asia, etc. Ms. Айдай Конушбековна expressed her hope that NISS of the Kyrgyz Republic would start various kinds of practical cooperation with IISS of PKU in the future.
