From December 8 to 9, 2023, Associate Professor Guan Guihai, Executive Vice President of the Institute of International and Strategic Studies (IISS), Peking University (PKU) and Director of the Russian Research Center, PKU, was invited by the China Society of World Economics and East China Normal University to participate in the academic seminar titled "New Trends in the Russian Economy under the Context of the Russia-Ukraine Conflict and Western Sanctions" where he delivered a keynote speech on "Russia's Responses to Sanctions and an Assessment of Their Effects."
