Volume 6, Issue 2 (Overall Issue 12) of the English-language journal China International Strategy Review (CISR), organized by the Institute of International and Strategic Studies (IISS), Peking University (PKU) and published by Springer Nature, is now available online. This issue of CISR features topics including China-U.S. nuclear relations, China-Russia cooperation on outer space arms control, China-Thailand cooperation on non-traditional security, U.S.-India defense relations, European strategic autonomy, and the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework. It also includes four new book reviews. The print version will be released shortly.

In November 2024, CISR successfully passed the evaluation by Clarivate Analytics and was officially included in the Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI) database. It is expected to receive its first impact factor in 2025. This milestone, following CISR’s inclusion in EBSCO, Scopus, and other databases, marks another significant step in the journal’s development. It reflects the growing international recognition of CISR’s research quality and academic potential, and will help further enhance CISR’s influence and visibility in both global academic and policy circles.
