Issue 1 of 2022 (totally 7 issues) of China International Strategy Review (CISR), an English journal of the Institute of International and Strategic Studies (IISS), Peking University (PKU), published by Springer Nature, has now been released online. This issue of CISR focuses on China-U.S. crisis management, China-Russia strategic relations, US and Japan’s economic statecraft against China, and China-EU relations. In addition to the 6 thematic articles, this issue of CISR has also published 4 articles respectively discussing on opportunities and challenges faacing China's economic “external circulation”, relations between Afghanistan and Middle Eastern countries, the relationship between biosecurity and biodiversity in China, and COVID-19 vaccine inequity in Africa. Besides, this issue of CISR has published 4 new-book introductions as well. The paper version of CISR will be printed and distributed later.
It is informed recently that among the 2021 (quoted score) indicators released by Elsevier, CISR, which has only been published for three years, obtained the Citescore index for the first time, ranking Q2 among journals of Political Science and IR on a global scale with a score of 1.1, surpassing more than 54.6% of journals of the same category.
