Issue 2 of 2021 (totally 6 issues) of China International Strategy Review (CISR), an English journal of the Institute of International and Strategic Studies (IISS), Peking University (PKU), published by Springer Nature, has now been released online. This issue of CISR focuses on the Biden administration's China policy, how to manage China-U.S. strategic competition, Belt and Road and China-U.S. strategic competition, China-U.S. crisis management, intelligent warfare and China-U.S. strategic stability, and southeast Asian countries' responses to China-U.S. competition. In addition to the 6 thematic articles, this issue of CISR has also published 2 articles by Egyptian and Kenyan scholars, respectively discussing on the relationship between the United States and the Middle East, and the debt issue in Africa. Besides, this issue of CISR has published 4 new book introductions as well. The paper version of CISR will be printed and distributed later.
The English version of China International Strategy Review is initially scheduled to be released twice a year. It is positioned to publish works that discuss major international strategic issues and present important policy and academic significance. We sincerely welcome friends from the academic and policy communities who are engaged in research on issues related to China’s international strategy to submit articles which will be double blind reviewed according to standards that are common in the international academic circle. Outstanding articles will be selected and the published.
