Niu Xinchun holds a Ph.D. in International Relations and B.A. and M.A. degrees in History. He is currently Academic Vice President of Ningxia University and Executive Director of its China-Arab Research Institute. Until 2023, he served as Director of the Institute of Middle East Studies and Deputy Director of the Institute of American Studies at the China Institutes of Contemporary International Relations (CICIR). His research focuses on China–U.S. relations, Taiwan-related issues, and Middle East politics. Prof. Niu is frequently interviewed by major media outlets and writes extensively for academic journals. His recent works include Strategic Intelligence Analysis: Methods and Practices and articles such as“On China's International Identity,”“Thoughts on the New Sino-U.S. Relationship,”and“Eight Myths about Sino-U.S. Relations.”
