WANG Dong

Wang Dong is a Full Professor with Tenure at the School of International Studies, Peking University, where he also serves as Deputy Head of the Office for Humanities and Social Sciences and Executive Director of the Institute for Global Cooperation and Understanding. He is Vice President of the Chinese Association for American Studies. His work has appeared in The Journal of Conflict Resolution, Diplomatic History, The Pacific Review, Foreign Affairs, and The New York Times. He is the author or editor of eight books, including Re-globalisation: When China Meets the World Again (Routledge, 2020). Prof. Wang has participated in major international forums such as the Munich Security Conference and the Shangri-La Dialogue, and has been recognized as a Munich Young Leader (2016), a Preeminent Young Scientist of Beijing (2018), and a Changjiang Young Scholar (2023).
